Google announces PageRank update immenent
28 Jul, 2008 | Google
According to Google's Matt Cutts, Google is rolling out "new toolbar PageRank values," during the "next few days."
Matt also noted he is expecting that Google will "be expiring some older penalties on websites."
By penalties, we can assume that he is referring to the Google Toolbar PageRank downgrade for selling links seen after the last update eariler this year. Some that were hit by this toolbar PageRank downgrade have not yet seen an increase in their PageRank value.
