6 factors that influence Adwords Quality Scores
23 Jun, 2008 | Online Marketing
We all want to maintain a great Google AdWords quality score, but how can we go about achieving this? Luckily a recent Google Groups thread does all the explaining.
If your like me and can't be bothered reading through the discussion, here are the 6 things you will need to consider:
- CTR: The higher, the better.
- Account structure: Your keywords should be in "tightly themed ad groups."
- Landing Page Quality: More information here.
- Account history: Your average CTR.
- Historical CTR of the display URLs in the ad group
- Other Factors: There are hundreds, but the aforementioned 5 are good enough.
If you work on improving the first 5, you should be able to maintain a good quality score.
